i have no involvment whatsoever, but i still don't see the evidence you are talking about.

what concrete evidence is there that the Super Shops is owned and run by the same people who owned and ran VRT?

i thought that was the original statement?

So either Marks not telling you the truth, or Scott is a liar...
How do you think I felt when he told me that. I was scratching my head like huh?

I even told that to Scott and he didn't believe it.

The few people who know the details of my motor are not noobs they know who Mark Brent is and who he does/doesn't work for.

I never said it was a RA motor even though Mark did the work the money paid went to Dad's garage not RA which is not RA's shop I think.

I guess to qualify as a RA motor I have to talk to Scott about the build or it needs have the official RA sticker on it.

kristene knop is the new owner of VRT she bought it from MA.

I picked up my car from MA's house in sept and guess what MA was there.

I was told he was in the process of moving out and had no more involvement with VRT.

Derek, I feel so bad that you got stuck in that situation and glad that you're now with a real shop - Precision Z.

I still don't get the RA story, and now it's Marks Dad's shop...

I'm just stating where my money went to the receipt said Dad's Garage not RA.

The place where I dropped off my block said Dad's Garage not RA.

I don't know if they are the same place or not.

Here we go again on another episode of As The My350z Turns. Starring Phil, Doug, RA and a cast of RA supporters.

FWIW... No I wasn't. I don't think all g35driver members are morons.

Despite being a three-time G35 owner (refer to my sig), I do think that g35driver is lame for the most part in comparison to my350z for the following reasons:

1) The tech forums are inferior. IMO, my350z is much more valuable for G35 owners who are performance enthusiasts.

2) There are some moderators/staff over there that I despise. A couple of them wouldn't last a month as moderators over here.

3) There is a group of diehard RA nuthuggers on g35driver that like to come over here and give their 2 cents worth, including Canadian who is a staff member on g35driver.

4) There are a significant number of g35driver members who are morons, talk out of their *** on technical issues/topics, and instigate BS over here on my350z. It was especially evident when a bunch of the g35driver refugees came over here and started posting in my350z threads while the g35driver server was down.

You don't see me going over to g35driver, which I'm also a member of, and pissing in their threads. That site has little to no value for me anymore. I rarely sign on anymore over at g35driver and when I do, I only lurk for a few minutes. I forget when the last time was I posted over there, but I think it was probably several months ago.

I hope this clarifies the statements in my previous post to FrickU and mends any hard feelings of some g35driver members that I have no beef with.

Now back on topic!

Honestly, this crap is getting old. There's enough controversy about VRT/RA/SuperShops that anyone on this forum with half a brain would not do business with either one. As far as I'm concerned anyone who does do business with them (knowing about all the controversy) is a glutton for punishment. What I don't get is why some many people with nothing to gain seem to give such a damn about all this. We all have our shops that we go to. Phil goes to FP, Doug goes to MRC, taurran goes to Performance factory, etc, etc. All of us are going to continue going to these same shops, so I don't understand why some people seem to get so wound up about a shop that most people have no plans (or ever had plans in the first place) to do business with.

I completely agree with this part of your post.

Because some of us are concerned for the Z/G community as a whole. Sure, I'm a customer of Intense Motorsports and will continue to do business with them, as well as support them in their achievements/goals as a shop. Lots of us are loyal customers of other shops that have nothing to do with VRT or RA.

However, I don't want to see others, especially newbies to the VQ community, get scammed by crooked shops such as VRT with their offshoots (RA and this Super Shops franchise). A good community (car enthusiasts or in general) has a membership that looks out for each other. IMO, my350z members should care about more than themselves and their own car.

There is some truth in what you're saying. I'm all about helping out other people, because, god only knows how much this forum has helped me. However, before I did the FI thing, I did a good bit of research. I didnt just call my shop up and say "Hey, I like the idea of FI, can I drop my car off on Monday?". With that said, with suitable FI research, one would also quickly find out about the RA/VRT antics. I like the idea of helping my fellow FI'ers, but I've really lost interest in this topic because of the endlessly repetitive nature of the whole thing.

Yes, it is indeed getting old.

Trust me ... I wish VRT/RA/this new SuperShops guise for VRT or any other business related to VRT would just go away and get out of the car biz permanently. But that is not happening. They have been and continue to be quite persistent in their efforts to stay in business and to deceive the VQ community (evidenced by these recent unsolicitated E-mails from Super Shops to some members on here and by the whole Scott Bush/ShamrockG fiasco).

Therefore, I believe us naysayers must continue to be as equally persistent in speaking out and exposing their fraud at every opportunity until these companies are out of business.

if it wasn't for this forum and its 'witch hunt's' .. VRT would still be owned by Mr. A .. he would still be swapping old parts for new parts.. still be building the SCC car and still be putting out lying dyno's
