This is just my personal preference of what I feel comfortable running. I have a street car, and made well into the 500's on 15 lbs of boost. 450-500 is about the most one can reasonably use on the street. I just don't think it is worth the risk of head lift pushing it any further.

I lifted my heads almost instantly on my previous build at around 17-18 psi (oem gaskets and standard ARP studs).... I have gone down the road, and i personally don't feel it is worth the risk

Why are you going to run those tiny turbos to 14psi? Get the 700's, you'll be lucky to hit 500whp with the 530's IMO...

Im running 19psi on the greddy kit and I run my car pretty damn hard. I find it hilarious how people think the headlift issue is such a huge deal and think the HKS and L19s are must. There are SOOO many high HP cars, other then the VQ, running around on stock or close to stock HGs with regular arp studs. Im running 19psi with regular ARP studs and STOCK headgaskets. I firmly believe it is all in the install. Guess I just have a fluke motor haha.

Personally, I wouldn't trust OEM head bolts. IMHO, you can probably run 14 lbs on that setup, but I wouldn't get greedy and try for any more. I am running L19 studs on HKS stopper style gaskets and I would't push them further than 16 psi.
Thats the gasket I have with me since less a year ago. keep the stock.
Thought I would made the internals last year ..

Yeah thats right, I didnt buy the ARP head & main stud
If I know the thing - sure it would buy it !!
Thats the biggest problem now. Coz Im very new to this
VQ35de engine - - Especially in my country.
No performance parts, accessories, bodykits, etc !!
Have to orders all the way from the USA .
wish i was there --

based on the experience I had, yes, I firmly believe in stronger than standard ARP studs. I also firmly believe in stopper style headgaskets.

Yes, install is important, but these components have limits. I definitely exceeded the limits of my previous components/install. For the relatively small amount of money to run the HKS or Cosworth gaskets vs OEM and running ARP 2000 or L19 studs vs standard, I would consider it foolish not to on a build

Yup have made the ordered JWT 530bb kits.
700bb Im afraid I have no power in the lower RPM.
Cause Im AT trans . need the 530bb spools faster.
Im targeting below 500whp for just nice street use

btw. you have a cutey cat there meowww

I know you have had a rough road and I am sorry for that. What did you torque the standards to? I just find it foolish to spend extra money on parts that are overkill. But if it makes you sleep better at night then it is money well spent.

That would be considered a built motor FYI.
