Edit: I'm pretty sure "GTM Cam Gears" is a made up part. Also, when last I checked the APS turbos' were internally wastegated; he has TiAL w/g's listed.

he doesnt even have an extreme version of the aps kit......and the enigne....does he does not have an fcon..... the made up parts list reminds me of what mr( #145 in the coinvag thread on AG section) tried to pull

i mean what kind of a tool trailers his car to a local meet
i dont think his 900whp can even touch r0mes or dougs 350whp low boost Last edited by IIQuickSilverII; Feb 19, 2008 at 08:57 AM.

We already know that the highest an APS Extreme kit is known to have gone is 855whp with GTM's car and that was with a 4.2L stroker.

sorry if we mis-lead you guys.... it was not our intention.... by the way, just FYI we do request a verified DYNO sheet with any claims we mention. However, when that is not provided or not possible we go with the quote from the owner... which puts it on them to prove.
thanks for the understanding fellas.

If thats the car, the last dyno sheet I saw was at HIN D.C. last year where he had a sheet (where you could barely see it or read it) and it was claimed around the 600whp mark. A few of us even questioned that dyno sheet as he won high HP over Bam Bam in that show and we KNOW what his numbers are.

As a regular member here with your personal account and as editor of PAS Magazine, you should know, appreciate, and understand the need to verify info/claims on a car before publishing it after the BS that happened with VRT in the import tuner mags.

^^^^ Because numbers sell units off the stands where these rags make their money.
Little kids that don't own these cars see these numbers and buy them or have mom and dad buy them.
That's their goal. They met their goal. They will print false crap (be it quoted or not) again.
Bet on it.

Big numbers(hp) make, well, Big numbers(sales)..
I think this was bad reporting on the job of the magazine. With so few 985
whp vq's out there, PAS knew exactly what they were doing by putting that number in the article. 600whp vq's are frequent here now. I feel as though a quality mag should verify such inflated horsepower claims instead of 'quoting the owner'. For that reason I cant say I would pick up another PAS magazine again. Anyone can report bogus numbers or say they have authentic parts which might be replicas for the sake of getting into a magazine. All quality magazines should be held to a certain standard. Investigating the claims of car owners looking for magazine exposure should be paramount. Once you lose your credibilty to put out accurate info, it's hard to get back. Actually it's darn-near impossible. This is my honest opinion and i'm entitled to it on this forum.
