Default Way to muffle a Vortech BPV?

I searched for about 20 minutes to get some info on muffling my Vortech BPV but came up with nothing. I remember seeing some people mention how they have a silencing mod from one of the Z1 shops (since there are 2) but I don't remember which one. I already have the BPV filter from Vortech and it does absolutely nothing . Anyone know which Z1 shop has this mod or what I can do to bring down the noise?

you can try recirculating the bpv back into the intake

I really don't think a bpv alone will silence the sound much if at all

I think some people used a small K&N filter on the outlet of the bypass valve.

I used the K&N filter Vortech sells and filled it with a foam type air filter . It has to be able to flow air quite easily to make sure your bpbov still works right

to recirculate it back into the intake . You would have to relocate the bov to the other side of the IC and then fabricate it to do so .

Didn't make any significant difference when I added a filter. Some people have stuffed the inside of the filter with foam or some material to diffuse the sound.

Im selling the Greddy BPV which is much quieter than the Vortech BPV. Gives it more of a whiffle sound more similar to a turbo than the loud Vortech Pshhhhhh

Bump up this thread for an answer, is the BPV that loud (noticeable like a BOV)? All the videos ive seen do no justice and you can't hear it. I am thinking of going Vortech and I would lovei if the BPV was loud..

I'm thinking of running the BPV into my intake also (I have a cold air intake for my Vortech) I was going to also add one of these inline http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/QTP-2...mZ300258215087 So I can have the sound when I want it.

To sneak up for teh easier kill. That's also why a lot of guys paint the IC black and leave the stock grill in...

If you're flaunting ****, less people will want to race - and cops tend to take more notice too. Bad, and moar bad.
