The stock kit will bolt right on and run your car fine. Jim Wolf has been running the kit on his car since it's creation. He runs around 8 or 9 lbs (I think) with everything stock, even his clutch and flywheel are stock! His car runs fine and he's never had a problem with it. I'd say the best bet is to buy the stock kit, put it on the car, and save to built up the motor and get a big tune later...P.S. I'm a little bias, I just bought myself a 530 kit, I'm just waiting for the kit to get in!
