Thanks guys - keep it coming. If you know what someone else on the list has, feel free to list it. Inquiring minds want to know .

On another note, does anyone know if a built SGP 5AT is going to be coming to ZdayZ? That also would be a nice comparo.

3rd and final thought for the time being, do you guys want to consider 2 levels of participants? Those who watch and those who get to ride shotgun?
This last part isn't so much about making a few extra $$$ as providing data that sponsors would be interested in (3rd party reviews of various aspects of the car).

I would not mind....but they would have to pay to help with the expense of the event. If its someone I know in person or on line...yeah...I would not charge. But it looks like we need all the help we can get.

Yeah...but I feel that if we spread this all over the net about the magazine coming on board and a chance to get in it...more will come.

Dil or Raj....because of this new update ( the magazine getting involved) could we extend the dead line This would help getting the word out.

Good idea - it does not hurt to ask. Dil, you think you could ask the insurance company for another 2 weeks? That would sure give me some breathing room to get word back from a number of inquiries I have sent out.

Good to hear Dil. At my end, I am getting some very encouraging responses. Keep in mind the $$$ value that Dil is asking for is the absolute MAX with zero outside assistance. I already know there is a 99% chance we are going to get some good support, but I'm not willing to disclose how much exactly until I have something in writing from those involved.

Given that it is my belief that cost will be low for you guys, I think 10-15 cars will be the perfect number, particularly if we have a variety of builds (which we do).

I'll have to work my tail off during and after the event, but it's all good I suppose in the interest of VQ enthusiasm!

That'll be a tight timeline to get to ZdayZ - but would love to see you out there. Even if you don't make it, would love to see your car at an upcoming local meet (haven't been to one in years, and last time I went there were no boosted cars).

Default Spectator Price Change

Hey guys I changed the price for spectators, the cost is now $20.00 so this can help bring down the cost for participants.

I don't think I'm going to ZDayZ, at least I did not plan on it at all. I would just drive down for the event and then maybe hit up Charlotte for the weekend or just head back to Durham.

I'm not sure driving from Raleigh to ZdayZ for a day trip is the smart thing to do.....

Well I have been following this thread and considering how you all are allowing stock blocks now, I am thinking of throwing myself in the mix. If the price comes down some and I can find somewhere to lay my head for Thursday night. I only have reservations Friday and Saturday. It would be fun just see what my little single turbo four door could do.

I will catch up with Dil next week to see where we stand with outside assistance. SouthernG35 - definitely welcome and add yourself to the list - if we don't capture an accurate list of those interested, then it'll be hard to figure out the true price for all. If you send in extra money now and it ends up costing less - no worries, you will get it back.

IF YOU HAVE AN INTEREST IN PARTICIPATING (i.e. you are FI and will be at ZdayZ), please post into this thread so that we can estimate a count of participants. If you have a max $$$ you'd be willing to contribute to participate, feel free to express it. I am shooting for AS LOW as possible to get the most interest, but if I've met everybody's target, I can stop shaking the bushes!

Well, I would consider paying a participant fee if it meant that some of the other (High HP builds) guys would come. I don't plan on running but if I paid the participant fee then I would at least have the option.

So if it meant that those guys would make the trip, then yea, I'll prob put down the money.

BTW-I have a AP Racing BBK.

Tyler4, each person added on helps a lot - so please consider running.

I'm sure you'll have a blast with your Greddy twins. I've got some thoughts about making for some good competition - including a two team event for part of the time, where each team will have equal #s of built blocks vs stock blocks and based on build sheets, each team leader can decide who runs against who (choose your line ups).

If we can get back to 14-16 people, I think with outside assistance we'll be close to $100 per person.
