Default Clutch Slip and vortech surpercharger

Will clutch slip at high rpms decrease the amount of boost created by the supercharger? I just have my vortech installed by performance factory and seen to have a slipping stock clutch at ~6500+ rpm.

Most likely its belt slip. Clutch slip would most likely occur at peak Torque around 4000 - 4500. What pulley setup? What belt?

Default vortech

I have an revup 06 with a 2.87 pulley with a gate belt from napa. I am not sure of the length. Would the small belt on the sc/ jackstand size slip as well. How tight should that belt be?

what did they say at PF when they tuned it? Likely belt slip, but stock clutch wont hold all that extra power for long.

What is it doing that makes you think its the clutch ?

If a power loss is showing up on the dyno after 6500rpm , I would have to agree that its a belt slipage problem . Tighten up the belt and give it another try .
