398whp at 6.5psi is still impressive. 487whp is just ridiculous and a bit misleading for those that don't understand correction factors.

wow 1.22 is a lot of correction. i have never seen more than 1.01 or maybe 1.02 on a crazy day. 6.5 pounds should net you right under 400 hp with the 700b turbos on a stock motor.

looks like fun !!! i agree with craig on this one though....

Congrats on getting your car together!!

WoW! insane numbers for the PSI level.

Take it to the track you should trap around 123mph with that much HP. The track dont lie!!

SAE correction at altitude overcorrects numbers. Regardless, nice numbers uncorrected given the ocnditions.

Awesome numbers, Robert -- congrats!

I can't wait to see your car again. I gather you are leaving at the end of this week? When will you be back in Colorado?

There's no one "hating" just stating facts based on experience with these motors. 487whp @ 6.5psi is quite frankly impossible on a stock VQ35.

But, you know what they say... ignorance is bliss...

We have been over the altitude issue and corrections before, especially with Tim @ SFR. Robert-look up the thread if you wanna know why those numbers are overly inflated. Otherwise have fun quoting impossible numbers. You wouldnt com enear that at sea level SAE corrected. No hating, just educating!

No one is hating..If you wanna say you have 487whp @ 6.5 psi that's fine by me. But let's be honest, that means your car is up there with Alberto's (low boost) @ 6.5 psi

Either way, congrats on the newfound power.

Here's the deal, though; 1.22 is the approved dyno correction factor for that dyno, and by approved, I mean it is the one NASA Rocky Mountain uses for all the race classes that require dynos, to include American Iron (a pretty big class here in NASA-RM)

So, yeah, it seems high, and it might very well be high, but there's some sort of method behind it.
