Yes it is. I have had the new 18 DRs on order since the middle of Dec. and they tell me I wont see them till June.

You'd be surprised. I broke an axle hitting 2nd gear on the street on my bald tires! With stickier tires and an improper quick shift with clutch dumped out before getting back on the gas a sudden catch of traction could snap an axle, but this is very unlikely!

Guess you just missed my entire other post.

I recommended the 305 because it is the only nitto DR that is closest to the factory tire heigth. Of course lots of other variables come into play like: camber, suspension, road surface, when talking about traction. The nittos did a decent job of hooking me up at 19psi tho.
