Default cjm line leaking?

hi, i have the cjm stage 1. the return line going to the fpr is leaking slightly not by a lot but it will be wet to the touch. i have cranked down on it as hard as i could. is it a defective piece? or should i keep cranking. i bought the setup from forged or should i just call cjm directly?

Can you tell if the leak is the line to the fitting, or the fitting to the regulator?
There is an a o-ring between the fitting and the regulator, that might be bad or over tightened. Should not have to CRANK the hell out of thos to get them tight, just snug them up.
Did you instal? if so was there an 0-ring on the fitting?

If there is an o-ring there than by overtightening you will cruch the o-ring and the connection will fail. You may need to replace the o-ring.

PM Phunk. He will likely be here tonight. He will probably check this thread too.

this is the line going from the passenger side fuel rail to the t fitting that connects to the fpr. they are i believe -6 an fittings and do not have a washer on them.

enclosed is the position where it is leaking from.
not from the connection to the hardline but where the male female meets

I see, take it apart and look very carefully to see if there are any srcatches or scuffs on the sealing surfaces.
I got a scratch in the male side of the cup, it leaked just a little.
I buffed the scratch out with some 2k grit sand paper fixed it.

try to determine if it is leaking between the fittings where it seals or if the crimp is leaking. either way, if its not something you can easily clear up then PM me and i will send you a replacement.

The stainless steel rubber covered hose from the hard line to the fuel tank was leaking at the crimp, phunk sent me a replacement 3 times (one time was because I didnt specify I had a G35), turned out it was a bad batch for the g35's!! All for no cost.

+1 to Phunk (Charles) Thanks again! Working great and no leaks!

my Y "NOS" piece is a lil wet. Such a PITA as those aluminum fittings make me super nervous to torque and that Y splitter is tough to keep the hoses aligned when tightening.

Those anodized aluminum pieces might look good but you'll never see industrial equipment with that stuff. Wonder why they dont offer steel?
