How is this kit compared to Greddy Twins? I know that GT35R turbo is rather large so i would be concerned about t-lag but u guys know best... You guys will def be working on my car within the next 6 months so all input is greatly appreciated. Thx.
side note: that does in fact look like a helluva deal as far as the turnkey pkg...

That's Great News Julian!

So what's your initial take on the kit and the parts?

I honestly could not say as of yet, as we have no personal experiences with the Power Lab yet, to make a valid and accurate comparison. However, upcomming changes to the market and Greddy's products will make the Powerlab Kit the number one choice over the Greddy kit as far as pricing goes. The days of $6200 Greddy kits whored out on ebay and forums will be over as of June 1st.

Well if your looking at Greddy, better jump before June 1st. Youll be paying 8200+ for the Greddy TT kit with an emanage.

For those of you who dont know:

PowerLab GT35R Single Turbo Kit 350Z 03-06

The PowerLab GT35R Single Turbo Kit consists of only the highest grade quality parts and materials offered on the market including Garrett, TiAL, TurboXS and Walbro.

Stainless Braided oil feed lines for ultimate aesthetic and reliability purposes along with high quality custom extended A/C line, CNC Oil Pan Spacer, mandrel bent and tig welded Piping components as well as one of the largest intercooler cores offered on the market with minimal modifications needed to retain the factory crash bar.

A 50mm BOV and 44mm External Wastegate are used in the PowerLab turbo kit for their proven history of excellence and performance on forced induction applications.

PowerLab doesn’t stop at fuel delivery and quality hard components as they have decided to include a TurboXS Map Sensor and TurboXS Utec Engine Management system complete with base map.

The GT35R Turbo Kit from PowerLab offers the most efficient and highest horsepower potential capabilities on the market. Whether you’re looking for approximately 400RWHP on a stock motor or 653RWHP on a semi built motor and upgraded fuel components, then the PowerLab GT35R Turbo Kit is the kit for you.

Turbo Kit Features:

- Garrett GT35R Dual Ball Bearing Turbo with .82 A/R Turbine

- TiAL 44mm External Wastegate (Silver Top)

Would it be possible to use a smaller FMIC so the crash bar doesn't have to be cut? Possibly using the Greddy FMIC instead? This kit is really looking like a very nice single turbo setup the more i research and hear about these turbo's on other cars..
