How can that be true if he is only burning oil for 100 miles after his oil change? No matter what level of oil you are at (except for empty), you should be pushing oil through the turbo, and the problem would continue.

It seems like it would be constant if the issue was with the turbos themselves.

Hi Guys thanks for the feedback,

Did some drifting with the car this weekend and now it seems fine... will get someone to drive behind me and check. I only drive the car weekends though... so I will check tomorrow or the following day and feedback. Will also check my oil level.

Cheers

It's actually still smoking.. but not as much as before but definately noticable. My oil level is on the L mark. How long does it take for oil to burn out of exhaust?

I'm only going to put 5qts from now on.. it's too easy to overfill. a lot of oil still get trapped in the tank, it seems like. once i got ****, and tilted one side much higher than the other and more came out, from when it was leveled.

I put in 5 quarts on my Greddy set-up and it smoked like a chimney at start up, so embarassing! Now I run 4-4.5qts and keep it at medium to low with no issues. I bet your overfilling.

i know i already asked this but is the dipstick looks like this "H XXXXXX L"

Now is the full line for the APS TT kit the bottom of the hash on the L side (XXXX^ L) or the L itself (XXX ^L)? because there is about 1/8" gap between the two and that 1/8" could be why most people are smoking.

As a side note, is there a place that you can get parts for the APS kit? ie, a drivers side oil return line?

APS will parts individually. But for something like a simple oil return, u can get from most car part outlets. Im not familer with american stores, so i cant recommend.

We have seen 3 things commonly cause this issue..
1) to much oil
2) Oil returns need to be trimmed to straightest line possible
3) VERY dirty air filters..

I bought some 45deg fittings with oil resistant hose & keep the oil level at the first X. So far no smoke, we'll see after the high boost tune next week.
