thanks guys. me and my friend did this in the garage.. btw the greddy instructions really suck.. we ended up just going with what we know.. We've done a few custom v8 swaps into 240sx's and such so it was fun to work on the z... I loaded a base map and was watching the data logger and so far so good. i should be able to drive down to so-cal just pig rich.!!!

i picked up the SS Trim from http://www.importimageonline.com/
I have been driving it a lil to try and get the coolant to bleed out...

The ss trim is actually very streetable. engagement is almost like stock and pedal pressure is almost like stock..
just a little bit heavier.

Ya I kinda wish I went with the SS because the PT grabs too hard; but the pedal pressure is stock. Thank goodness I dont have to drive the Z everyday

Nice man! Nice setup with the STRI gauges (I got them as well). I like how you mounted the LC-1 calibration switch and LED, along with the STRI peak/hold buttons. I mounted my LC-1 switch and LED on the very bottom of the passenger side dash (hidden away, but still accessible), and only had one STRI gauge in the pillar pod so I mounted the button under the dash next to my hood release. Only problem so far with the STRI's is that they are LOUD

Oh, and importimage is a great place (guy) to order from - awesome prices.

EDIT: Oh, and I went with the blue DB gauge thinking the STRI's would actually be amber. Had I known they would be red I would have got the matching DB.

Good Luck. Nice to see another DIY'er on the forum. Good Luck.

P.S. I think you meant 11psi springs on wastegate not BOV...

BTW is this on a stock block or built engine?

Are you dropping off or waiting there for the tune to be completed? because if you are going to wait be prepared Sam is a very very busy man. first time i tuned with him i was there from 7 a.m till 1 a.m the next day. i would recommend getting a rental car and a hotel room if you are going to wait. he only tunes after normal bussiness hours when the phone stops ringing.
