Turbonetics g35 making insane power
There's a difference between getting reamed out for asking honest questions or being modest in your statements, and egging people on - you obviously weren't looking for the warm & fuzzy response.
Congrats on the numbers, however, I'd have to agree that you can never assume your car is making a certain type of power on another dyno based on estimated differences and corrections. If you want to get 425-430whp on a dynojet, roll over to the local dynojet and pay them a little for a few pulls. You'll have a sheet and any claims will be legitimate.
As far as the numbers being 'insane', I don't really think they are that insane. Considering you're running water/methanol, have a custom tune, and are running on increased boost, I'd say they sound about right where they should be. My own personal stock block setup, untuned on the reflash, put down 412whp @ 9.1psi.
Also, I think Jeremy's dyno reads a little low for a dyno jet.

That **** is hilarious
Its not insane power.
A Mustang dyno when not corrected to read like a DJ or higher reads lower. If the vehicle weight is not correct numbers can be everywhere.
Go to a DJ and verrify your insanity.

No one is belittling you. Facts are the only thing that hold any kind of weight are here. Especially in the FI section. Assumptions are the mother of all failures.

this sums it up pretty well
There is nothing wrong with the dyno that was used, I know from personal use. But I think his tune was changed a little hence the increase in power. It may not be insane to everyone else but him with a 50 rwhp gain it is.
I know of a local mustang dyno that spits out extremely inflated numbers. They don't even bother telling any of their customers that they've adjusted it to spit out "dynojet like" numbers. I'm willing to bet those people get the inflated numbers, then tell everyone they're making even more than that based on the fact that it's a Mustang dyno.
It happens all the time.

exactly why he shouldnt assume things until he gets it on a dynojet again

I understand what you are saying. But I can guarantee this is not the dyno you are thinking of. My experince with this mustang dyno is about 10% lower with my car vs a dynojet when I compared the two. I thinkl he should run his car on a dynojet just to see. I know there is one in the area where he lives that he should stay away from. It's notorious for inflated numbers.

JET
considering out of the box with 650cc injectors and utec and everything i made 355whp at pf the fact im making around 430 now is pretty insane. i have a major leak in my up pipe i'll probly be back in orlando so we'll throw in on his dyno to see the numbers :-)

If you want Dynojet numbers, or want to compare your car to one that was tuned on a Dynojet, go dyno your car on a Dynojet. Plain and simple.

We also have a superflow that crushes dreams lol NA with all exteral mods plus cams I dynoed 260+ on the superflow/ but on the old mustang dyno....... 311WHP!!! dynoed one week apart lol
p.s. you know how you calibrate mustang dyno's? COPY SUPERFLOW NUMBERS from a superflow car!!!!! LOL
