Turbonetics g35 making insane power

I thought Mustang dyno's were supposed to read higher?

Man the **** up and get a twin or bigger single

The deal with mustang dynos is that one day they can be reading wildly low, and the next wildly high. It totally depends on the atmoshperic and load settings that the operator applies.

Here is a dyno chart form a G35 with STOCK BLOCK making 405 @ 6 psi

See what I did.... I made a claim, and post a dyno to back it up.... you should try it
Some of the people that post in the FI section are as knowledgable as anyone in the industry.
so STFU until you know what your talking about

Its not that you cant make 400whp, you have to consider the size of the turbo, engine, and psi ....some kits make 400whp at 6-8 psi but look at the size of the turbo they use...now look at the flow charts of the hifi turbo u have.
Also in your post you mention why he is incorrect: he claimed with a exhaust leak too
That the gains 40whp on a tune(which if true, it makes you wonder on the previous tune) and then add another 10-20whp on top of that on a "rice" correction to approximate dynojet numbers?
he already admitted its not his fault his shop told him so, so maybe incorrect advice...maybe he received an inflated number for "business purposes' who knows really
as Tim said....the should have done a baseline
ID be nice to see the boost curve of the run too.

What do you guys think, eh?

What do you guys think, eh?

worst case..at least do a baseline run on what ever dyno to check on the gains.... and dont assume dynojet till you see a dynojet

this thread is so stupid it makes my head hurt. i left performance factory with a dyno of 380. this was running 11 degrees of timing. im now running somewere around 19. when we put the dyno on for the preliminary run it was 360 . given my "assumtion" that everyone seems to be so hung up on.
cliff notes: 380 on dyno jet
360 on mustang dyno
408 with meth and same psi on mustang dyno
take a look at the 20 whp diffrence from the time it was at pf to the time it sat on the mustang dyno.
so all you guys can go on "assuming" what your saying isnt ignorant.

If you don't want people debating the validity of the assumption you should go run it on the Dynojet. I'm interested in seeing what it would make.

Uncorrected number don't lie. And 6.5psi is manifold pressure (what the UTEC reads) not going off your bragging right a-pillar pod gauge pressure.
