Nice vid on a great product.
Now a couple of comments!
There is no such thing as a real or fake sequential gearbox. This will make your gearbox into a sequential.
Sequential only means that the gears are changed in order and that's all. Pull back to go 1-6 or foward to go 6-1.
What sequential gearboxes are usually associated with are dog engagement with a no syncomesh gears with either straight or helical cut gears. Hence the clutchless upshift
Now with "dog clutch gearbox" you still have to heal and toe on a downshift "most" of the time. If you got the money then you can tie in the ecu to the gearbox and it will cut power on upshifts so you don't have to lift-off at all. Now if you have even more money you can have it do the heel toe for you as well. But cars like 911 Cup simply cut power on upshift with no clutch needed but you will need it on the down shift plus perform heel and toe.
You could just go with a PPG or a Quaife but you will still need to master the heel n toe skill, which is a good skill to have, practice on off ramps!!! These boxes are not only expensive but need lots of maintence like all race products. You won't be able to go past 15 hours of use before you have to strip it down. So no daily drivers.
Now this product is not worthless, in fact It looks crazy fun. I feel its a great to shift sequentially and you still get to keep the smooth syncromesh. And for those of you that say this is stupid, Porsche has been thinking of adding this to their cars with regular H pattern shifters and clutch.
As far as shifter height, it looks perfect, just right on line with your hand on the steering, but that is my preference. I feel the Z shifter is low enough and short shifter only makes it worst for me. The throw looks long but still quick, your fastest shifts are always 1-2 or 3-4 which is the pull back on the H pattern. No you just get it on every shift.
I would get rid of the leather cover thou, it's like an ugly girl with a bag on her head, you know ugly is still under there!!! lol
If I made any false claims or misrepresentations I'm sure everyone will let me know. I just felt like dispelling some confusing info I was reading.

For about $150-200 you can buy a WOT box or a KP module will provide you no lift shifts with a stock ECU and several standalones like Haltech, F-con and Vi-PEC all have no-lift shift. It dosent require anything tied into the gear box just to the clutch switch and it will cut spark (for milliseconds) as soon as you stab the clutch. I ran the WOT box for a couple years and loved it. My Vi-PEC has the feature I have yet to try it but it takes some time to get the right timing down for your shift speed. The WOT box had an auto setting that learned your timing it worked very well for me.
