Snow performance vs Coolingmist Vari-cool

Snow performance vs Coolingmist Vari-cool
I did alot of research about the different W/M kits and settled to 2 kits to choose from;
- Snow performance stage 2
- Coolingmist Vari-cool trunk mount
there is a $150 difference in price between the 2 kits, thats not a problem. honestly I like the simplicity of the snow kit. at the same time i like the progressive controller that comes with the coolingmist vari-cool. what do you guys think of both kits?

George@GTM: that looks like a pretty good kit, but honestly quit expensive and I'm sure I wont use half of the kits features.
D350Z10: good to know your using the snow performance stage 2 since i'm looking for feedback from ppl who use it. can you tell me whats the job of the snow performance controller (I know its a variable controller but what does it do excatly)? where did you place the reservoir?

^ The reservoir is placed in my trunk mounted on my crossbar, I didn't want that but thats where Forged Performance put it. I would personally put it in the spare trunk area underneath the carpet, thats is also where my pump is located. The controller sprays the methanol at a givin rpm I believe, Ill look into it more and get a detailed answer.

the snow performance kit is great...i use it but its triggered by boost...once i get 5+psi it kicks in when armed...too little of a psi and it will "bog" the motor down....+1 for snow performance....

I just check Coolingmist site and it sayd $599 for the varicool trunk mount kit

what would be the disadvantages of using a trunk mount w/m kit?

1. Will tuning be required that covers the full range of spray (0-100%)?
2. What role will the UTEC play?
3. Can you disable the spray with the UTEC when you don't want it on? Requires a non spray Map when not used?
TIA

You don't really have to re-tune your lower boost or the column before you spray since that will be unchanged. Utec will not really play any big role unless you are using the Spare Solenoid to control your Meth Inj.
Don't make it so complicated, just use the the kit as a standalone since it will automatically turn on or shut off once it sees your min and max boost settings. If you ran out of Meth then just switch to your No-Meth Map.

let me get this straight, so the snow performance controller has a MIN and MAX settings. you set the MIN pressure so that injection starts spraying and it'll have a linear progression till it reaches MAX pressure (which is user pre-set), am i correct?
if so I assume thats the same job that the Vari-cool controller does with the coolingmist kit!!
