have you upgraded the fuel system? hows the start up/idle with those 600cc's ?

 

No return line, just the Walboro and DWorks 600cc injectors. They idle like stock and sometimes I just have to blip the throttle on start up but other then that I love them. Plus they drop right in and use the factory plugs.

Initially I thought I would lose bottom end torque by going with a free flowing exhaust. I knew I was going to lose a little high end power too. I do like the way you can just hear the turbine sound of the supercharger and the rest of the car is silent once the bypass valve shuts, it almost sounds electric. The whole sleeper car theme is pretty cool too, I'm sure it will surprise more then a few

sounds so sick!! u cant get no trakshun! lol btw bryan, my car always ran best with nismo exhaust and test pipes with 3.12 pulley, didnt lose any low end and gained i the upper rpm. tried a 3" single and lost a lot down low. you might want to do something like the turboxs exhaust in the future. i bet you have another 15whp with just a cat back upgrade.

the intake setup you have isn't the stock one for the vortech is it? I want to have my intake pipe sit like yous (like my old CAI) since I'm currently running the filter off the blower.

If you intake pipe was made by yourself can you give me any tips you have in making it (since I am doing it myself)? I still have my old CAI to work with.

I'm kinda kicking myself for not doing the exhaust before I had Sharif tune it, I just don't want to go lean if I change something. Sharif said I would just have to watch my air/fuel if I did the exhaust so I'm still considering it as another 15whp would be nice

 

That's good to hear about the Nismo exhaust. I just installed the TurboXS this weekend and I'm already selling it. The Vortech + HFC's makes it super freakin' loud. Would be fine for the track, but not for daily driving. Putting my Nismo back on this weekend.

I think we are going to be pretty close. I have seen him run a 117 trap so he def has good power on the high end too. We will be going to the track very soon!
