Default Utec Map for ATI Procharger?

Does anyone have a map for the Utec for an ATI Procharger?

I need one for the inline fuel pump and fmu...

and/or one with 440cc injectors and upgraded fuel pump..

doing an install this weekend and want to get a Utec, but tuning is $450... just running out of money

figured that is what forums are all about

I've found maps all over the web for every kit but this one

you used the TN map just to get it over to the tuner?

the problem is I just don't want to pay $450 for a tune

was hoping someone would have a 7psi stock kit/block map

or even a 7 or 9 psi with injectors/walbro map...

you should really hold off for a while and go with a tune.
best way imo especially if you wanna do it right.
spend $450 to get a good tune instead of a going broke
when you blow your engine w/ a crappy one.

+1 This is more important then everything! You must get the proper tune for your car.

then that TN is a good basemap to play off of.

without a dyno it will be tough to get the timing right

i'm going to use the TN base timing map for my vortech setup, until I can get it on a dyno. Luckily my used kit came with a fuel map for the 650cc's, which will be a good starting point.

no one in these forums will share that info I tried in another thread and got nothing but grief and all I wanted to do is compare the different ones to learn a little about tuning. But these guys will not share the info

i think of people were tuning the cars themselves, like they do in the subaru forums, then people would be more open.

realistically, those TN maps are a great starting point. but without a dyno, its all guess work. The shops have done so many setups, they just know what #;s to start with and then use the dyno to fine tune it. Dont expect to street tune to that level.

Most people don't bother tuning themselves and go straight to a shop. I planned on doing everything myself, but I realized that I'll need to go to a tuner at some point. After that, I won't feel right about sharing the map publicly, because that just wouldn't be right.

I paid more then 500 for my utec tune.

450 doesn't sound too far out unless they're doing the tune in car with no dyno.

Wouldn't be right? Screw that... The way I look at it, I paid for the tune, I now own the map. I didn't sign any fcking confidentiality agreement with my tuner...

itpro2002, dude if you want my UTEC 8psi turbonetics tune I will pm it to you when I get back home in a week. And I would be more then happy to share it, and all my subsequent maps when they're done, with the rest of the forum as well.

I have an appointment Monday at 3pm.

it'll be with what's in my sig

I'll post it up.

I may even try a 7lb on one map then a 9lb on another in which case I'll post both, but not sure will be time

I completely agree with sharing maps.

Look at myself, my car is done, but I can't drive it all weekend because I dont have a safe map at the least, so it has to sit and wait till tuned

Last thing I would do is run anyone elses map, at least on my boosted car.

It's one thing to run it for a base map to get you to and from your tuner, but if you plan on making any real boost on it...

Don't even try. you might as well trust a ECU reflash.
