dual exhaust for aps st?
I am in the process of starting to install my aps st kit. I have the stillen exhaust for now. My question is would it be ok to get a y pipe made to adapt to the stillen tru dual or would it be better with the aps st exhaust. Also is there another st exhaust that would work with this? Thanks for any info.
I run the greddy with my APS ST and it's fine. It's an easy modification to do. I just prefer the look of duals to a single exhaust.

If you like the sound of the stillen exhaust then make up a reverse Y pipe and what ever is needed to make it work. As for the flow of the exhaust there is no problem with it at all. I have been running this exhaust for 32k with my aps TT with 3.5 TP's and X pipe removed. I've seen it up to 14psi with no restrictions at all. The plus side of it is it's quieter than a single 3" and flows well. In the end it's all up to you and what you want.

The stillen should flow fine, but as has been stated, will require custom fabrication to have it mate up properly.
I would not run a cat. You will definitely make less power with a cat in place in addtion to added thermal load on your motor

I brought my car to a friends shop and he is going to fab up a 3" single exhaust which will run off of the 3 1/2" dp. I will prob use a apexi 3" muffler and sell my stillen exhaust.
