Default Boosted?!?! Whats your 0-60 times?

Sup guys,

I have been looking for a thread like this for the past two days. Either I suck at searching, or there is no such thread.

so, I was hoping that you guys can post your 0-60 time and with what set-up in regards to power and suspention and tires.

should be interesting, I hope under 5 sec...

usually right around 0-60 there is a big traction loss.

Do you still not understand, No one gives a chit about 0-60. Either you are on slicks and you are working about 60ft, or you are just spinning like a bish. I almost feel bad for you, I see serious flamage in your future

I give a chit. It's a simple question. I'm more interested in 1/4 mile personally, but if someone has an answer I'd like to know this. There is nothing wrong with camparing what magazines do imo.

0-60... an almost worthless measurement of acceleration.

It's hard to say because there is really no way to measure it. I wish 1/4 mile tracks would measure it somehow but they don't. I know all of the magazines hype 0-60 times but they have a 5th wheel to properly measure it. Really the best indicator of power is the 1/4 mile trap speed, so this is the standard. To answer your question though I bet most of the FI 350z's are probably running mid to low 4 second 0-60 times.

Just guess man. Find a car of similar HP and TQ (compare @ crank since that's normally what they go by) and weight, and 1/4 time and see what their 0-60 is timed at... there's your ballpark. I don't any pulls below 3rd gear anyway...

There are so many things that come into play:

tires
RWHP
gear ratio
ETC...

But I'd agree that 4-5 second if you can catch good traction. I know in my car 1st gear is worthless though but not worried cause street light racing is for posers What really counts is the trap speed in a quarter and there are a few rides that are hitting 130+ which is insane fast for a 3500 pound car.

This is an estimate using a calculator inputing my 60ft and 1/8 time---> 2.8 on slicks @ 13psi. On my TN set-up and slicks it was 3.4.
