Default Almost Done !!!!!

Well after several years of f-cking with this SC system . Finally ending up with a all cog pulley system . We are gettinjg with in a day or so to getting done . I was at the shop today and the owner showed me a dyno [ Mustang ] of 487whp and at or just over 400trq . This was at 6500rpm and just under 19psi . I told him to put the rev limit at 6800rpm's and finish it up .
I'll post up a final dyno when he is done .Being a AT5 tranny Im happy so far . I'll ask him how far off his dyno is from the DynoJet about 50 miles away . I may take it there in a few weeks .
You sure can tell that the AT5 hurts the power out put . Plus Im sure the parasitic loss starts to get bigger and bigger as the blower gets harder and harder to turn .
Looking foward to getting it back finished . After 2 1/2 months with an empty garage

Mods
03 G35
T-trim blower , race gears and bearings
AT5 tranny , VB and TC
built motor 8.5 to 1 pistons
50/50 mix Meth sprayed from 7psi on
Haltech EMS
850 injectors
12+31+4 IC
3 in. IC pipes
And a ton of other stuff

Great job and results so far....Its probably been asked and answered before but does the Mustang read lower or higher than a DJ? I recently dyno'ed my built motor on a DJ and the tranny started slipping at 470whp.

Great job! Mustang dynos usually read lower than a dynojet.

nice!

now why did you go with 8.5:1 pistons. I thought they only recomend CR that low if your TURBOcharged since you could see boost up to 30psi or more. With a Centrifugal sc you will probably not see more the 20psi (where youre at now) even with the cog system. That is unless you upgrade the blower again.

If i ever build my motor, ill probably spec 9.5:1 and get a 2.87 pulley...max 14psi.

Nice!!! Good number for an AT. It's not bad that it only took you 2 1/2 months. Mine is almost done. It's in breaking-in period right now and it only 12 months and counting LOL.

Tranny has been holding up fine so far . His Mustang dyno is set up to be more forgiving than the other Mustang dyno that I used . That one read 11 to 12% lower

Less compression is able to run more timing and is a little safer at 19 to 22psi

Thanks !
The 2 1/2 months was the shop learning the Haltech EMS and getting the 850 injectors . He took his time tuning it needless to say...lol

Mustang dynos are horrible dynos to compare numbers with. cant wait to see dynojet results.

Mustang dynos can be altered very easily with weight changes in the computer.

nice work though, coach ks tranny just wouldnt make more than 470ish on my dynojet with upgraded TC and VB..

Shop owner said he has his dyno set up not to be so punishing on the ego .....lol . The dyno shop I used to go to , his dyno was always set up to give true numbers . He said normally it would run 11 to 12 % lower than most Dynojets

I think going to a 3 inch duel exhaust would help . But the AT5 and paracitic loss is killing the power . Gains are very small with boost over 13 to 15psi . I think I,ll end up with 20 to 21 psi at 6800rpm when he is done . Dont expect to see much more than it already has

I'll take some when I get it home and cleaned up a little . They are a small shop and dont wash and clean cars when you get them back . So its got 2 months of shop dust on and in it .
