Default Anybody disassemble their vortech blower?

Just wondering how easy/hard this would be. Thinking about sending off my blower to get chromed/anodized/goldplated/sometihng different.

There are a few guys who have done it however you are limited because I believe some of the bearings are pressed by a machine.

Do it, but plan on a rebuild from vortech. There are three level with the price pretty much doubling at each level.

I wouldnt attempt such an effort just for bling, but then again that would be pimp..

Good Luck

I think I may just do the front snail portion, which I think should be removable w/o issues w/ seals and bearings. I need to retap the holes that mount the blower to the mounting plate as well, as two of them are stripped. Need to heli-coil that sucker.
