Critique my ST build.
Ok so, I have an 04 6 speed performance 350z. Im new to the whole nissan thing but not to FI. Ive built/owned a single turbo LT1 Trans Am and a 94 supra st..but obviously this car isnt either of those.
My goal isnt crazy as this will be a daily driver however I want it to be pretty reliable and able to stand up to a decent beating.Im hoping to make 550rwhp.....600 MAX at the wheels. I might track the car once or twice at the most to get an idea of how fast the car is...other than that I want a highway monster....so heres a list and feel free to add/remove parts. Im not including suspension parts as I will post that in another section. Thanks.
-Powerlab gt35r ST full kit w/utec(possibly thinking of a 37r but it most likely wont be needed)
-Wiseco low comp pistons
-Eagle rods/L19 bolts
-ARP head/main studs
-New stock headgaskets
-Cosworth engine bearings
-Not sure of the company but its got the twin fuel pumps in the bucket for 700$..that along with the aam? fuel return style system for 1000$
-Some sort of clutch(havent researched any yet)
-Some kind of catback exhaust that has the factory appearance
-Snow meth inj. kit
-Koyo radiator
-B&M short shifter
thats about all I can think of so far..ill continue to add as I read up. Feel free to do the same..again im looking to make around 550rwhp..600 max.

Sounds like you have a good idea on your setup. I personally wouldn't change it much if any. The GT35R should do for your goals. It has already made 650+; if you were looking to push 700+ then the GT37R would be the better choice. The short shifter is a preference thing. As for the headgaskets; the HKS would be a good item, but the stock has been proven to hold over up to 900whp. You might want to look into some cams. Maybe some BC Stage 1's (264's). The UTEC should work for your setup, but you might want to look into a full stand-alone in the future to get the most of your setup (Haltech, HKS F-Con, ProEFI).
Good-Luck!!
Edit: You listed a meth kit, which is a good accessory, but I would add in some other cooling mods. I.E. Nismo T-stat, Oil Cooler, etc.

Hows that AAM(i think thats the name of the compay)fuel return system? It looks pretty nice from what I could see with the rails and frp...and its very similar to the full return system I built for my rx7..any suggestions on engine builders? Ive been using the same builder for my last 5 motors, however they were all LT1/LS1's...they are very good builders but I read on here that these engines were different...I plan on having the short block assembled and ill take it from there...

The AAM setup is good. I personally would prefer the CJM setup over the AAM, but again... just personal preference.
For building the short block; I would go with GTM or Forged. George and Sharif have built many a short block in there day, and you would be in good hands with either. There both site sponsors on here, so you could just PM them you info.

+1 on the carbonetics triple disc...expensive as hell but worth every penny in my opinion..
previous owner of my Z had a six puck 1000.00 clutch installed...ACT iirc...I got to change it after fusing the disc to the flywheel...lol wasnt a fun install...Got the carbonetics from Sharif @ Forged performance...

itll work with the stage 2, but Charles will have to make the adapter on the hard pipe a -8 instead of a -6, so you will probably have to contact him to do it. his name is Phunk on here
