Default Synapse Synchronic wastegates

I'm wondering if anyone is running one of Synapse's wastegates, or has any experience with them. There is not much out there about them seeing as they are pretty new to the market. I have heard good things about their BOV but not a whole lot about their WG's. The way they have 6 boost levels built in without any need to change springs seems like a great feature.

I am 95% sure at this point my overboost issue is happening because my turbonetics evolution WG went **** up. Synapse's WG001 is a direct replacement for it, and is priced about the same.

Ah, good call... I didn't even notice they had forums on their site. I will check it out.

edit: lots of scaryness on there, lol... Its hard to make a decision based on the info there alone, because you have to figure that most people who are happy with their setup wont log on there just to say so. Still, it makes me want to go with a tried and true WG, either a tial or another evolution.

I came to the same conclusion, but I am following the Synapse products with interest. I figure I would let all of the kinks get worked out before diving in. At the suggestion of my tuner (Roger at Japtrix), I am putting Tials into my new build and will use those for now. If Synapse proves themselves reliable over time and offers significant benefits over the Tials, I may switch over to them later.

TurboSmart makes some of the best stuff out there. Check them out. Can't go wrong with TIAL either.

At this point I am leaning towards a flange adapter, a 38mm tial, and an open dump. I just need a reliable setup that wont fail me at the track like my evolution did.

The synchronic looks promising and has some nice features, but I dont want to invest in a part that still seems to have some issues to work out.
