You need to ask this question on the engine & drivetrain thread. There's plenty of FI guys there that can help you out.

Agreed with the previous poster.. but in the mean time:

I've heard of 'heatsoaking' with the popcharger. I have the JWT popcharger and I have no such problems... but I have heard other posters having similar issues.

However, I believe 'heatsoaking' has more to do with the air temp getting too hot (or hotter than usual) while the car is at idle. Most claim this goes away as soon as the car gets moving.

So essentially,

maybe it has more to do with your bored out pistons rather than the popcharger

maybe dumb questions...but....do you have coolant in your system? I've heard of guys getting bubbles in their coolant lines...and not getting the cooling they need...maybe that's it. I'm runnin a procharger on 9psi, and I flog on it daily, no issues yet

I would definately look into burping your coolant and check that first. Easiest to fix and usually most helpful.

OP, if you are overheating chances are you have air in the cooling system, your thermostat has failed, or you have more serious issues (blown HG).

Are you seeing any smoke (steam) out the exhaust?
Have you purged the cooling system yet?
Are you sure your cooling system is full?
Is the Tstat opening when the engine is up to temp?

Since you live in Seattle, we know ambient temp is not your problem, lol...

I changed termostat to a lower temp one Nismo 68C. System is full and tried to purge it to what I knew. Is there a special way to purge the system? and what are the signs of a blown Head gasket?

Purging the system on the VQ35 is pretty in depth... Its easy, but you have to be persistant. There are a bunch of threads in this section on the right process to use. Above all, I recommend you buy a spill free funnel to do the job right. It just makes life 100 times easier.

If you have a blown HG, you may be seeing any or all of the following: reduced power, overheating, white smoke (steam) out the exhaust with a sweet smell to it, oil in the coolant, coolant in the oil (the dreaded "milkshake"), overflowing coolant due to cylinder pressure, and/or black particles (from combustion) in the coolant. What symptoms you have will depend on where exactly the HG failed.
