I'm curious about the CEL codes because... well... I'm curious about a lot of EMS stuff... plus I do have the ability to eliminate them if there turns out to be a good reason to. I would prefer to eliminate the issue causing the CEL, but that may not be possible while using a standalone EMS.

If it was an emissions inspection issue for me, I would just remove or unplug the standalone as my NA G can run fine without the EMS and will never throw a code. I realize it's not possible for most of you FI people to do this.

I'm not sure what you mean here... or why you quoted my post.

I didn't mention idle anywhere.

But I do like necessarily wild cams...

I forgot you have an automatic... Geez... How could I ever forget that... Sorry!

The soft limiter is nice, but the price you pay for it is not being able to control it with a standalone EMS. Wouldn't it be nice to have an end-user tunable version of Osiris to adjust it however you want?

Thanks!

I'll be interested to see how this turns out.

No worries, a lot of 6MT guys don't like to remember I have a 5AT 'cause this car is just too damn fast!

The bottom line is that the Haltech is really one of the few pieces of equipment that EXCEEDED my expectations. Haltech FTW!
