So unfortunately I decided to abort the project and sell everything as I no longer have the time to work on the car.
SIKE!
Yeah right I will never quit till this car is done. Sorry guys no updates, been real busy with trying to get my shop in order. Me and my friend Mike (the welder) have been running electric and getting our lighting in our shop area in order. On top of that I am putting up drywall and putting tile down in the bathrooms I am remodeling in the office area of the shop. Tile is not so bad but, dry wall sucks. Drive shaft should be back from the shop soon as they were finally able to find serviceable u-joints which is nice because stock Nissan shafts are not serviceable according to them, and the correct ends to make the shaft. I was trying to just replace one section of the 240sx driveshaft but they said a whole new one piece will have to be made to hold to the power of the VQ, and besides that they said the u-joints on the stock 240sx shaft I had were worn out. This shaft is only being made for a test fit for the VQ mount kits for the 240sx I am making, I am going to put a 350z rear end in my car so I ll eventually have to have another shaft made for mine.

Happy New Year! Damn man... I read through the entire thread. I found this trying to find some switches for the 350z power seats since my seat is stuck all the way to the rear (and I'm only 5'3", which means I cannot even touch the pedals)so after taking mine apart, rebuilding them and possibly frying them I got on here and ran across this. It motivates me to see you to do all this stuff. I will quit being a cheap *** and buy some new seat switces. Back on topic..... Phenominal Build. Keep up the hard work. DIY all the way!

I think I'm gonna get drunk when you finally complete this project lol.
It's too awesome not to sit here and party by myself at the least when it's all said and done.
Keep it up man!

Stopped by again since I haven't checked in here for a while. Progress is looking very nice!
One thing I'm not too sure about.. The wheel wells you welded in. They look like they'll stop the tires from turning fully from lock to lock. Can you put on a wheel with tires or something and crank the steering wheel to check this before you go further? I'd hate to se you almost get done just to find out you can't make a normal 90 degree turn.

I just bought a plasma cutter, some 3" stainless, stainless v-band flanges and stainless O2 bungs to make the down pipe so I should have some new pics of the downpipe soon. Now that I have the headlights mounted, I figured out a solution to my radiator and A/C condenser clearance problem so I should have pics of that soon as well.
