here was mine. Its a 120$ part and a few hours of your labor. It drained 5 quarts from my motor in a couple minutes. By the time your warning light would blink, your motor would be toast. It was just too trivial of a part to leave to JB weld.

ok so today o turned on the car and there is a leak but its very small. I went for a drive for about 50 miles and it went a quart down. Well this kinda sux so tomorow, im gonna start taking out my oil pan for a new one.

well that was a surprise! at least you ar making the right decision to actually fix it instead of using more jb weld.

have fun getting that rear seal on right so it doesnt leak!

so last nigth i went on a cruise and i checked my oil level about every 10 miles for 50 miles and the oil stayed the same. The leak stopped somehow but im gonna swap out the oil pan anyways cuz i need a peice of mind and gotta stop worrying about it. LOL

Yeah the biggest reasons I havent done it is cause 1) its holding 2) its a pain in the *** and 3) I don't want a leaking rear main seal because of the swap.

the swap isnt that bad. took me maybe 6 hrs goin slow and on my back. did it under 2 the 2nd time around.
