VDC SLIP light, and no throttle response WTH?
I'm trying to determine what happened earlier today, hopefully somebody has some experience with this problem....
Just driving normal 45-50 mph, VDC and SLIP light come on and no/little throttle response. Cycle on/off, car is fine again. Drive for about 5 more minutes, does it again. Hit gas and I go nowhere. 3 times like that, then it drives fine until I get home, A/F is good the whole way, MAF is reading is not strange.
When it happens, any gas pedal action I do has little response, engine just sits at around idle rpm, and jumps like 2-300 rpm and falls back....
So is my TB dying? Trying to think whatelse could be a problem, gonna pull the codes tomorrow to check further.
Any help very much appreciated!

I had the same problem but it only happened once and has been fine since. It is most likely a TPS related. Here is my thread......https://my350z.com/forum/forced-indu...code-mean.html

i had the exact same problem as you and its not the TB or the MAF, It is the sensor located in the gas pedal assembly in which u have to change the whole thing, apparently some 350z's are having that problem and because of that it ruined my UTEC and had to get a new one. PITA for me cause it was driving me crazy.

Hasn't happened again, pray it doesn't again, but got a P1223 and the normal P1273 and P300. I guess somethings bound to break when you got +100k miles lol. Oh well, I know where to look now, thanks guys.

I'm having a similar problem. However, the Nissan dealership has told me that the issue is due to the fact that I have 19" wheels. They tell me that the speed sensors on the wheels all agree with each other (being within 1-2 mph of each other), however the speedometer does not agree with the wheels.
I get the SLIP light and throttle dieoff when I go around a bend at >30mph, and especially if the road is bumpy.
Apparently, the traction control system will cut throttle response if any wheel exceeds a certain tolerance with respect to the other wheels and the speedo. Since my wheels are oversized, the wheel speed sensors are out of calibration with the speedometer.
The worst part is... NISSAN TELLS ME THAT THEY CAN'T FIX IT! They say that they don't have the capability of recalibrating these sensors with the equipment at their shop.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I'd appreciate any help given.
Thanks!
