Congrats Sharif and Forged....in the pics I don't see cages. Are you allowed to run without them(apparently since you guys did), but do they recommend that you put one in. What is the minimum requirements when it comes to cages.

Cages arent required, but we are definately putting one. The car will look very different for next season. Right now, we are just trying to wrap up this year.

Some pics of Robi driving the EVO... Got a chance to ride shotgun with Robi around the track for a handful of laps, so much fun...

How did they let you run in the Unlimited class without a 4 point roll cage. The rules say you need a 4 point cage minimum. Was tech a signature formality?

Unlimted rules Link....

Unlimited Rules

All Unlimited Class vehicles must have a minimum 4-point roll cage/roll hoop installed. Refer to section 1.22 through 1.24 for roll cage specification rules.

i didn't see in the overview for the ultimate class any specifications stating that the cage must be welded in, but it may be in a more detailed section of the rule book

Its my understanding that the Cusco cage isnt really legal for any motorsport in the US because its a bolt in. However, I can be made legal by welding it in permanently.
