Default Greddy FMIC guys please come in!

I've searched for something that does what I want but haven't found anything.

As you know the Greddy FMIC completely removes the Front Impact Bracing. Has anyone found a way to make SOMETHING fit?

I'm concerned that the car frame should be boxed in, like if the brace was there.

Would something like this help + a strut tower brace? Im concerned about any type of frame twisting now that it's gone.

That brace isn't going to do anything. It attaches to the plastic radiator support. In our car I thnk the engine is a structural member. The bumper brace doesn't add any rigidity ot the frame either.

^^ It bolts to the end of the frame rails, so I figure it DOES do something for rigidity. It's like an open ended box now...

This is true in some sense, but your worring is not needed. The brace does add some structural support, but the Z frame as it is sits already is very very rigid. You also still have the suframe that is connecting both of the frame rails, along with the strut bar if you have one. The radiator support is also still bolted up to the frame rails, so its really not like an open ended box.

Yeah I suppose it's true the radiator support is there. I was just curious if anyone had done anything.

It's actually a G35, I should get a strut bar.

Yeah I track my car, and run R-compounds, my only concern is any kind of twisting.

You could have full slicks and still be fine.
