Yeah like with LS1s. Some aftermarket tbs for those cars dont have the hole and idle like sh*t. After you drill one it solves the problem. Why do you say it wouldnt throw a light with FI?

Tell me more about the blow off valve issue, who provided you with a new spring?

Im going to try the 9psi spring..and if it doesnt work fully(which it should drastically cut down at least..) then im going to step down to the 7psi spring which I know will work.

When the car is off, the BOV is closed, right? So when iding it is open and you should feel air coming out of the valve ?????
I think i almost understand this...the spring is set to push the bov open at the pressure the spring is loaded for...(ex:a 7 psi spring open the bov at 7 psi or greater)...so at idle the bov is closed? so if the spring is too light, it will bleed off charge air under hard loads since the spring is optimized for a certain pressure range? the 7 or 9 lb spring is good for low boost apps, but the 11 is good for high boost apps....am i correct here?
so if you run 9 psi of boost, that BOV with a 7 psi spring will open up some?
Just trying to grasp the concept fully here...

Oh, dont take it the wrong way please..im not saying your wrong..im just saying the TIAL was desiged to open smoothly...not flutter at all. IMHO Tial 50mm is the best bov on the market and when its setup the RIGHT WAY is unbeatable. Its funny how sync. will say theres is faster..thats because they rigged the test. A tial with the wrong spring sucks and will be sluggish and not work...but thats why they make different springs..if you watch youtube..you can find how one works with the RIGHT spring.
