Thanks for your patience.
Jeez, you get all the easy problems... NOT.

Best of luck.

After seeing the TN kit and the plumbing and how it is routed vs. my kit, I see the differences and i am nto as turbo-literate as many of you are.

Boost is addictive....you say you might want JUST 50 hpr later, you will probably want more, if you switch, you can do it easily, if you stay with TN, you will keep spending and spending to do what the PL kit does easily. You make it sound like i am attacking you personally!! it's all good bro!

I know the PL kit is better and a part of me wishes that I had it. I'm happy with the way the car performs now so that is why if I want a little more hp, such as 50 or so, it doesn't warrant changing a whole entire kit but rather, one or two items which is A LOT more cost effective.

My primary concern is safety for the engine. Boost isn't any good with a bent or snapped rod or pistons that look like the surface of the moon. Having a kit that doesn't make gobs of power so easily may be a saving grace for me as I have another car to upkeep as well as more pressing and more important responcibilities.

Anyways, congrats on your kit, don't beat-up your car and watch out for the cops.

Hey guys, I am the one who actually got this kit. I goto pick up the car tomorrow from Performance Factory . Its been a much anticipated wait to get the car. I choose this kit becase of the quality of parts that it comes with. Im going to upload some pics and videos this weekend!

Btw I have a HKS exhaust with this kit the was modified to fit the PL kit.

just a few words after driving home with my car....f*ckin nasty... the car pulls like a monter once in boost which is about 2900rpms. Not to mention the sound at WOT is enough to scare any unsuspecting person driving next infront of or behind you.

My car is stock evrything minus exhaust and the kit itself so you cant tell anything untill you see me takin off

Few questions though...with AFR's should I be seeing while in boost? Its been hovering around the 10.2-10.5 area. I know thats probably a little rich but more on the safe side. What do you guys think? I did get a check engine light after I got home from a 3 hour drive for multiple misfire. I wonder if it has anything to do with the hot starts and UTEC. This hot start thing blows major ***** with the UTEC there has got to be a way to fix that...I can tell that it is going to drive me crazy after a while. Any thoughts on that?

Overall I am really impressed with my experience with Performance factory and the quality of the parts on this kit. Jeremy and Tim really took care of me even though there were a few hickups starting off. I need to get a polished intake manifold now to compliment the rest of the bling in the engine bay now. Overall this kit was worth every penny after day one.

You're A/F is rich, but like you said its on the safe side..you're still putting down over 400whp so that should make you ..trust in JT when it comes to his tunes. Just get used to the CEL..its part of the deal when going F/I and has nothing to do with hot starts..The only way to get rid of the hot start issue with the UTEC is to upgrade to Haltech, FCON etc.
Enjoy and congrats.......

Yeah thats what i figured. I have a questions about oil pressure. Ive seen it vary a bit since driving the car. With the engine at full load how high should the pressure get (5k-6k rpms)?

I wish we didnt have 2 hurricanes surrounding FL so I can test this beast out. Ive driven 300 miles since I got the car and I have barely been able to step on it b\c of the wet roads. Ill tell you though, you can really feel how responsive the turbo is at high speeds this thing really opens up.

future plans? Well after being told my car looks like its about to squat and take a crap after boosting, suspension will be the first thing. I doubt ill have any track times or vids until these storms blow over but that is definately on my list of things to do. I dont know about a built motor just yet depends on how i feel next summer. Right now im satisfied at the power level I have now... we shall see how long that lasts .

The GT35r is very responsive. I want to drive in a TT car to see how fast those things pick up. The car starts to build boost around 2.5k and hits full boost by 3k. So there is a nice juicey powerband to be played with.

Default boost leak? white smoke?

well after driving the car last night when it was dry out. On the way home the car would not boost past 7psi and there is a definate whistle noise coming from the left side of the car that was not audible before.

Also if I rev at idle when the rpms come down there is a screeching noise that sounds like its coming from the BOV. I am thinking maybe these two things are going hand in hand causing me to lose boost pressure.

The screeching noise was there before I was loosing boost pressure.

Any thoughts?
