Default SS box vaccum line???

Hey guys, I just got done putting on my Vortech And I LOVE IT!!!! Anyway, I am trying to finish up so that I can take it out for a drive, but this vacuum hose off the Split second box is holding me back. I have been searching and sending pm's for the last hour and no reply yet, so figured if I posted I would get a quicker response. Anyway, there is a short vacuum hose with a t-fitting off the ss box, but its way too short to reach any other vacuum hose. It says to tap into the manifold, but doesnt reach? So I tried using the stock nipple off the top plenum, passenger side in the front, where N/A it comes with a vacuum rubber cap. And I ran a line from there to that fitting, and from that fitting to the FMU, tapped to the Bypass valve.

Is this right? Or anyone have any suggestions?

My car, from time to time, the idle will drop a little, then pick up. Is there a way to fix that?

the line you are talking about on the SS box if i remmember correctly is for the manifold pressure reference reading. once it senses boost/positive pressure in you manifold it toggles a small relay in the SS box that in turn switches the vortech aux fuel pump on and off under boost and non boost conditions. when i was running the SS box on my enitial setup i ran that line directly to the upper plenum.

Could be vacuum leak if it's almost stalling out.

Yeah, for the most part, it idles fine, and from time to time it would drop, but not shut off.

if you havent had it tuned yet the idle mite need to be set hgiher the supercharger puts unexpected load on the engine and it bogs a bit mite just need teh idle turned up but yet you have to flash the ecu for that,
