Short ATI procharger vid
I posted this in the HUGE ATI thread but it's on page 20 already so I figured I would start a new thread. This short vid is of Mike pulling into the parking lot. You can hear the SC and the mufflerless exhaust...sounds pretty mean Enjoy!

Damn, that is loud!! I thought theres was a Mack truck in the video, and all of a sudden the Z shows up. Maybe it sounds cool in person though. Got mixed feelings about it now. Imagine that sound echoing in my garage, lol. Well, as long as it's putting some nice power down, I could prob live with it.
Thans for the vid.

Yea, that noise is making me rethink some things. Hell, I was not that thrilled with this to begin with, but now I am much more skeptical. I have heard that the loud, constant whine does go away after 500 miles or so, but I have not heard confirmation of that. Of course a SC will whine when it is spooling, but I have heard complaints of a constant whine all the time. I too woudl prefer the "SSSHHHT" when I shift, but not for $8000 installed.

OC...I actually love that sound. It's weird because everyone says my ride sounds like a Jet. And when ever your at the track it seems like everyone just talks about how they love the sound. I guess it's a racer thing or something.

I'm suprised you can here it so much at low rpms. I haven't been following the supercharger threads that much, so these might be stupid questions or comments.
The car wouldn't be under boost in the video, correct? maybe its more like a whistle? some whistle under vacuum.
If you think that is loud, it should get much much louder under heavy acceleration.
Superchargers are undoubtably very cool and do sound extremely badass in person. Everyone's reaction is like...holy**** what the **** is that. I have some experience with this. I installed a Jackson Racing supercharger on my 01 Prelude last summer. It was the cooolest car I ever drove. I was making about 235 at the wheels. It would whistle some when just cruising around. When you hit half throttle it would start to boost and it sounded absolutely amazing. I don't think this supercharger would disappoint anyone.
