I have a set of the 325/50/15 on a 10" wheel as well. They look great until you launch the car. They're going to rub like crazy on the fenders. I also have the 275/50/15 on a 8" wheel and they work perfect at the track.

Interesting... we have used a 325/50/15 on our Z many times without rubbing. We rolled the fenders, did you?

Sent you a PM on the boost fluctuations..it had nothing to do with the MAP,vacuum lines or Haltech.....

Well there you go....I guess I need to roll my fenders

What back spacing did you go with?

Also it looks like you went with skinnies up front...What are the sizes of the tire and wheel?

Thanks

They are the mustang sizes..only with no spacers on either side. Honestly..they fit perfectly..within a milimeter. 15x10 with a 6.5 backspace on the back and I just ordered 15x3.5 for the front..I think it was only one back space..but they fit perfect.

Well, found my exhaust leak (I thought it was a loose clamp)..it was ripped there and in a separate spot on the other side.(this is the cross over where the wastegate mounts)

What happened was..when i first got the kit the dump tube was too short(about 3/4") and I had to start the bolts and tighten them to close the gap..I figured the flex section would be enough to "stretch" the pipe..guess i was wrong. All the pressure pulling ripped the metal next to the weld(the metal was thin around it. What I also did was shorten the downpipe so the merge met up with the dump tube. Its close now but its not perfect and I dont want to risk ripping it again so im going to pretty much remake the dump tube so its actually a little tight. I fixed the cracked section ...

For now im running an open dump and blocked off the merge. HOLY SH*T is it loud when it comes into boost haha. Im gonn run around like this for a little bit until I feel like making the new pipe.

that happened to me, exact spot... that part of the exhaust system is seriously the hottest part, the color of the pipe tells you that. the weld is obviously the weak point and heat is looking to escape. mine broke and i was running what sounded like open headers for a week. got it rewelded and reinforced so it won't happen again...

yeah well the dump tube was the cause of mine ripping off. The was pulling too hard on the waste gate. I'm going to remake that pipe so it actually fits.

note that PTP direct sells them cheaper on ebay.
You don't want to deal the PTP (Protech Performance) I had a very bad experence with them as well as may others around Austin.

Go directly to the source

www.boostlogic.com

Good guys and PTPs source last time I checked.

they offered to replace it/reweld it. but being my daily driver i can't take that downtime, plus the sound was driving me insane.

i got mine rewelded at a local shop and reinforced. won't happen again hopefully.

..No. I got the usual "we'll call you back"..3 days ago. I gave up on that so I fixed it myself.

Update...powersteering is done for. The downpipe rubbed through the alum. hardline and left the fluid all over the road. Looks like ill be taking everything out to replace that line.

That sucks, but it could have been a lot worse.
Aluminum hardline, an oxymoron at its finest.. like jumbo shrimp

The vertical part in the new weld, is that just a booger?, or did he have to chase a hole?
