built short block,T-trim,NOS project to start!
you can get the bearings in the v2!! thats what i have/had it sounds redic!! and it sure does ramp up power i had the 3.12/34/28 setup on and made 17 psi with it!!!!! if you get a v1 you might have to do a little custom fab to make it fit cause i know the v2-t was a tight fit!

Do you have a close up pic of the bloer and jackshaft assembly for the rrev up ? My first thought when I read you wanted to go to the 8 rib like Quamen did , was .....is there going to be enough room for the wider serp pulley on the jackshaft . Maybe the Rev -Up is different , but on the older kits , I dont think there would be enough room . Im going to search around to see if I can find a pic of what Im talking about .
Here is the area I was thinking of . And it looks to have plenty of room for a wider pulley....never mind...lol

But why go so deep with a blower? YOu can get that kinda power with a turbo and be much more efficient about. It will negate the addition of NO2 bc you will already have lots of torque. No custom 1 off machine parts. No being without your car for 6 months again. And maybe athat tank of gas would last more than a weekend with the higher mpg from a turbo.
Just curious.

but honestly at this point i have so much invested in my current setup i feel like i cannot turn back now. i ran the numbers on purchasing a tuner turbo kit greddy, aps or PL single and all of the associated upgrades needed such as boost controler/ turbo timer/ different exhaust setup etc, etc and i know i would have to invest more money into a turbo build that to do the s/c upgrades i have planned. i want 500RWHP AND 450 RWTQ. That is my goal and i i know i can do it with the planned upgrades. i am not one of these people that has to make rediculous HP figures on a dyno to impress others. and i am not one of the highway roll on run type of individuals. i am older now and have been there, done that in my younger years when i was heavy into modding fox body mustangs. i plan on doing alot of track time in this car in the near future " road race " and i feel this setup will best suite my needs. i like the linear power band of the centrifical s/c. it has the manners of a N/A car but just on steroids. i have owned turbo cars in the past and dont get me wrong the sundden thrust of power is a awsome feeling but for the application this car will be used for i just feel it will be alot more predictable under hard driving conditions. the nitrous setup will be for those once i a while times when i want that sudden thrust / turbo feel, lol

BTW this project will not be starting till the first of the new year. i just got done putting a CST suspension lift on my titan truck. pro comp wheels, 35" rubber, bullydog engine programer and some other odds and ends things. NEED TO RE-COUP THE PLAY TOY ACCOUNT!!!! i refuse to build cars/ or anything for that matter on credit cards. back in my early 20's i built a couple of mustamgs that way and it took me years to pay those cards of well after the cars had been sold!!!

sounds like a great project!
I'm curious to see how it turns out.
I wish we knew more about how E85 works out with our cars because that'd give you some more power and even higher octane for about half the cost of race gas.

made the first step for my build project. here is the spare 06 rev-up engine that i will be building .i picked up for a steal "$350.00" from a local nissan tech " thanks to Stan " it has 22000 miles on it and was pulled for the oil consuption bulliten. i know the previous owner of the engine due to he is part of the vegas z club out here. the nissan tech i purchased the engine from let me know that this engine BARLEY met the criteria for this engine to be replaced under warranty and that he had to fuge the figures a bit for the owner to get a new engine in his z. regardless it does not matter due to the pistons and rod's among many other assemblys will be upgraded. over the next couple of weeks i will be doing the teardown and inspection as well as start my laundry list. will keep you posted.
not this weekend it's my "B" day. my girlfreind is throwing a party at my house. there will be alot of this

you and the guys are welcome to come over for the party. BTW i am at that age that i am couting backwards now! i will be 35 now. dont forget it!!!!!!!
