got a problem!!! need some input!!!
I would contact Garret at HKS and find out if there are any HKS dealers in your area with the F-CON Pro Writer software. If so, maybe they can take a peak to see if there is anything going on in the F-CON. If there aren't any HKS dealers in your area, I would sell the F-CON and get a Haltech. Don't get me wrong, I like my F-CON, but I only need to drive 1/2 hour to get it looked at... If I didn't have an HKS dealer nearby, it probably would not have been my first choice because only HKS dealers can get into it.
Garrett says he doesn't feel it is the fcon feedback because of the fact that it didn't do it earlier. He feels that if that was the cause, it would have presented itself within 30 mins or so.
OK so i think that is ruled out
i have a feeling it is his stock computer for some reason or in the wiring harness. we had a car do exact same thing a few times and after messing with the harness, we found a weak point in one of the wires that went to the cam sensor and caused it to act weird. it was heat dependent too that caused the wire to mess up.
have you looked at this wire that JT had trouble w/. could be the same thing happening again.
maybe JT can tell you what he did to get rid of it
