Default Something weird in my coolant over flow bottle

I just so happen to look in my coolant overflow bottle and i noticed some orange looking substance floating in the bottom of the bottle. I dont remember seeing it the other day when i looked. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? It looks almost like some kind of algae?

So whats the point of this thread. Lets take off the reservoir and examine the orange **** in there. Take off the radiator cap, make sure you dont have that same in there.

im sure you know what to do if you have a 700+rwhp car

It maybe little bits of head gasket . You may want to go out and boost it hard a couple times . Check the fluid level before and after

I am going to open the rad cap when the car cools off smart ***. I Don't feel like getting burned.

BTW aren't you the guy that JUST ****ed up your built block by putting old plugs in a new motor?

I did and the fluid level was higher than it was before i ran the car. I am just concerned because i didn't see it in there the other day (at least i don't think i did). Also i can see no signs of fluid runing down the block from the heads.

BTW i am pretty sure the HKS gaskets are black.

I had that too right after I had my motor built. We assumed it was pieces of head gasket.

Stock radiator or a new one? If it's the old radiator, I'd bet it's just rust. I hope.

stock radiator.

It would make sense that it is rust, but this stuff looked a little lighter in tint. Who knows lol

Are you running pure water or 50/50? (have you ever run just distilled water)
