I ordered some Tein S-techs from their yahoo site. It took me 2 months to get them, and I had to call weekly. Apparently, my order was placed, but not received because they just switched over to the new website, and it was the same time that hurricane Ike came through. I got my springs finally, in a water-damaged box lol...

If you keep calling everyday you might get through. I one day talked to some lady, and she processed my order, but then was never able to conact them again. At least I got what I paid for though.

I sent some pistons and rods to SGP to have them build a motor for me . I got a call from Kyle saying the pistons were stock bore [ I had bought them from a member here ] I told Kyle to hold off on the build and I would send another set of pistons . He told me they had a low mile block they could clean up and install the stock bore pistons . Me...not knowing crap ...asked if that was okay to do and Kyle said yes .

I ordered a ultimate short block....did not recieve any of what was included at the time with the Ultimate short block , I got a basic short block . The motor sounded like a deisel truck , even after a full warm up . I called SGP and talked to Kyle and he said I could send the motor back and they would check it . If it was out of spec. they would redo it . Well Im sure the pistons were within spec , BUT Im sure it would have been on the edge for clearances . Thus being noisy as hell .

. Some time later a thread about SGP was started and I posted about my motor . Mark PMed asking what he could do to fix the problem . Well , redoing the motor with over bore pistons and getting the teflon coating I didnt get the first time would fix the problem . Mark agreed to redo it all as ordered the first time . But I still had to pay to have it pulled and re-installed . If I remember right , it was over $3,000.00 in labor to do it . In the end I did end up with a good motor , but the extra cash and down time left a sour taste in my mouth for sure

you think that its bad that I relate what happen to me ? your opinion... but it didnt happen to you did it ?

Just relating what happened to me with SGP . They stepped up and fixed the problem . Kyle made the call to tell me it was ok to clean up the cyl. walls and install stock bore pistons . To me....it wasnt a good call for buisiness . To me it was an attempt to get a motor in and out as fast as possible to make a quick buck . Plus I didnt even get what I ordered .

There are several shops that get big and start having problems....GTM , AAM , SGP ....Im sure there are several others
