Let me know if you end up going with those spark plug pressure sensors, If you want I can dig up where to get them from if you haven't found them already.

They are expensive, but its a better approach then listening for knock. The model you would create would only really apply to your engine, just because there are so many factors that make every car unique.

Keep us posted, your going to start having some fun! Just keep it conservative and don't get to aggressive on the tune, there is a fine line between peak power and a lifted head with these engines

Thanks George - appreciate the insight. With 3 top notch tuners contributing to this thread, I better not screw up my motor, especially with Sharif's coaching (warnings!) today on the phone. (good point though, and no worries, I've got cell phone #s for you, Hal, and Sharif on speed dial!).

Good luck Raj...as methodical as you are, I am sure you will do no harm. Of course, I am always here to clean up the mess, just in case..haha!
