APS TT, Greddy TT thoughts
Dang...holy thread resurrection.
I actually made my choice on a turbo kit already...and it ended up being neither of the above.
Good to see others might be getting some clarity from this thread though.

Hanging in there, need some rain so I can get some sleep. Other than that, good.
I did state, higher HP potential is a benefit of the greddy kit. If your goal is to max out either kit, sure, the greddy is going to make more power, but.... you will probably have issues with the maf housing and have to remake the charge pipe to eliminate it. Will also look at replacing the couplers, which feel like they are made along the same assembly line as office max brand rubber bands. And for what it's worth, I still take issue in removing my front impact beam with the greddy kit
Don't get me wrong, the greddy is plenty capable, and if your only goal is HP, and maxing out the kit, go for it. If you are planning on running 500-550 (which is well beyond the need of a street car), the original APS kit is still superior IMHO. Better quality.
If I were in the market now to build and go TT, I still wouldn't choose the greddy kit.... but wouldn't run the base APS kit either now that it has been revised. I would probably be looking at a powerlabs, pending more research on my part; or potentially a GTM kit, pending quite a bit more research. I would have a hard time choosing a kit
My kit has been the only thing in the past 12K miles of abuse that hasnt failed. And that includes MAXING out the turbos. How many APS guys actually MAX their kits so we can compare?
<----will destroy any APS car on the boards with pump gas and a kit that looks like a HS kid put it together
