Default Built Motor Database

As many of you know I am now going on my second built engine. What I want to accomplish with this thread is a database of built engines, and how long they are lasting with what components and how much power.

Since it seems most failures are occuring over the 550whp mark those peoples information would be more valuable.

I am looking for positive AND negative info. If you do not wish to publically post your engine or headgasket failure you may PM me, your info will remain 100% confidential.

I want to make sure my next build is by last and final one but I need your HONEST FEEDBACK in order to make that happen.

Please submit info in the following format:

I.E. :
Sleeved 3.5/ 12mm studs/cometic head gaskets/638whp DD @ 17psi/no water or meth/ lasted x,xxx miles or no issues to date

I appreciate everyone help with this, hopefully this will save newcomers many of the headaches do many of us have gone threw.

I DO NOT WANT THIS TO TURN INTO SHOP X SUCKS BUT SHOP Y DOESNT.

you need more info than that, like;

what they were doing if/when it died.

was it tracked/street raced.

what oil used.

how was it tuned.

I am sure there are many more that I am not thinking to ask.
