Fuel System Noise
when its humming really loud try opening the gas cap and see if the sound chills out a bit. if it does that gives me somewhere to start... but without hearing the noise myself i cant tell for sure if the noise youre hearing is normal or if there is something to look into
i dont think its an issue caused by cheap pumps... they are certain rather cheap compared to the bosch 044 or the likes, but the opening of the gas tank flange is too small to put 2 of those in there.... the walbros flow well and can be reliable as long as they dont starve or cavitate

Seems like you and I have the same symptom...

Also, this may be a really stupid question, but is it harder for a fuel pump to push the requisite gas when the gas tank isn't full (e.g. 1/4 full)?
I noticed on my AFK that when I was at 1/4 of a tank, I was running a little lean, but after I filled up the tank, the AFR's were running how they should...
Hopefully someone can help me here since it's of same topic. I just got a new fuel pump assembly so had to redrill everything and put the old pump back in. The car drove great and then a week or 2 after it just kept cranking not turning over to start. Before I would hear the pump turn on and it'd fire up. Checked the fuse and it's good any clues? It's not the crank position sensor also as that has been changed.
