Coz he has a habit of giving a quote on the phone and when you get the final bill it is more than he quoted coz he'll say some other work needed to be done or parts needed to be replaced. Well it's not just VTR but most shop does it.... When I went to MRC he quoted me $xYz and when the bill came I got $xYz and nothing more. I thought I was getting Punk'd.. lol

i understand what you are saying, but i just don't see why vinny would be so confident with me telling me it would work and told the guy who he installed it from that he could put it on an auto or manual. it just doesn't make sense and i will have to take it up with him. . . anyway did you ever get it done seeing as you bought an auto kit. . did you end up getting it to work, and how much would the crossover be if anyone wojuld know it would be you right since you must have done it. .

Turbonetics charges ike $350 for that pipe I think. Thats why I said just get a diff kit that works. Im telling you FROM EXPERIENCE, dont buy a used kit.

If you do the install at with Vinny Ten.....you'll be fine...he'll make sure the car is up and running fine before anything...If Vinny said its going to work then go for it....the guy installed sooo many turbo kits on Z's im sure he knows what hes talking about

yeah i hear you there, but for me to him to come right out and tell the guy selling the kit it would go on either i mean that just says he must be able to pull it off somehow i thought. . i don't know or was experienced with doing it, he said that it would fit the manual with few inches to spare without changing the crossover pipe, like i said ill have to take it up with him and call a few other places and get better idea, basically i was told by vinny and the owner of the kit that it would work thats why i got involved with it. i don't wanna end up putting a ton of money into getting it to work, ill have to see what a crossover pipe actually costs.

and if that pipe is 350.00 i will still go for it if i need to buy it then so be it, i am getting a deal on the kit and i truly don't even think i will need to get it but we will see i guess. and the kit is the new version with the water lines. it has 3k on it, and is a very nice kit well maintained, professionally installed and uninstalled, i am not worried about buying a used kit, i am just worried weather it will work or not, ill have to get an agreement with vinny that if it don't work maybe he can cover the cost of getting the crossover and see how confident he really is that it will work.
