Yeh, i have seen those girls who post funds for their breast implants do very well.

Chebesto is very knowleagable on car performance. Where as I am still learning. This is my 1st project car.

But I have an ace up my sleeve and that ace is a crazy family owned performance shop named Acosta Racing. They are currently flexing their muscles with a tri-rotor single turbo conversion of their new rx8. The same day as they received the car from the dealer, they gutted it open for heart surgery.

I expect nothing less than 800whp from this rx8.

Put it this way, when i say i want to stay below 800 whp, their entire family calls me a wuss. The tri rotor they are using is the same from their NHRA Mazda pickup that dynoed at 1600whp and ran 7.6 seconds. That was a twin turbo, the rx8 will be single.

Cheston and Skidizzle will be much earlier than me though. their projects are already under way, if not past 50% completion. I wont be starting mine til 2004. I can live with 13.11 second daily driver. I wont start my turbo project until i can buy another car for daily use.

I definitely agree that you should watch out and be careful when dealing with Acosta Racing. They have some negative feedback from the Rx-7 community.

 

1) Where do I find out info on these Virgin Funds

2) Acosta Racing must of made a few people mad... so I would definately watch yourself (350z_taquito) is mad at em for some reason.

3)Rx8 gimmie a break... the thing looks like a reject BMW 3 Hatchback... and its a Mazda... a Mazda... a Mazda (Im surprised Mazda hasn't gone bankrupt yet, they are the fords of Japan - Oh thats right, they are Ford)
