I have a G...not a Z ....I have driven 800 to 900 3 or four times...From SC to TX...from TX to GA and so on.....no problem...except, I could not find any free gas
I think a lot of guys, myself included, drive 3-4+ hours just to get to their tuner. Figure that the bulk of your highway time is off boost and pushing max flow through the intercooler.

Just watch the maintenance (oil level especially) on the long trips and more than likely you will be just fine.

pretty much the norm that our customers do the long distance drive thing. None had issues until xkr hit a rabid dog and destroyed his wheel on the way home.

I've driven from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur (250 miles) on a weekly basis and a few times Singapore to Penang (500 miles) with no problems in my TT G35.
If you know Malaysian highways and you know the local customs here, it is possible to cruise at 110mph and hit 160mph easily. So I am on boost more often than your average highway cruise
Once a month, I will make the Singapore-Kuala Lumpur run, head straight to Sepang International Circuit and do maybe 20 fast laps, and head back to Singapore in the evening with no problems at all
At the end of the day, 350Z/G35 with a built engine with a good tune should be as reliable as a OEM FI car like the EVOs and STIs.
