Big Props to Marty@Injected Performance
I wanted to take this time to give big props to Marty at Injected for his outstanding service. I've talked to Marty on the phone and even through his work AIM and it was apparent that he made customer service a top priority. It makes both Injected and Marty look even more professional.
The reason why I posted this here though was because I have a story too.
It all began last week when I was browsing the vendor classifieds and I stumbled upon a thread with a deal for a Powerlab kit that was too good to pass up. I was in the market for FI so I jumped on the deal of course. The kit got to me in ONE day after payment. (I'm in VA he's in Kentucky though)
To my disappointment it didn't come with either the instructions or fuel injector's. No problem.. I called up Injected (Thinking Injected would be the ones sending them to me) and another worker picked up the phone and told me he was at SEMA. At this point I was again still disappointed because I was thinking he wasn't going to call. About half an hour later I received a call from Marty's personal cell phone WHILE he was at the show! He certainly wasn't required to call me back since he was busy doing other things for his company so I was pretty happy.
So I find out that he has to get the Injector's + Instruction's from Intense. I find out that Intense is at SEMA too! So.. Here I'm thinking that I won't have my injector's for a few more days until they return from the show....
Well, when the show was over.. I call up Marty and he says he will call Intense now. After what seemed like an hour of waiting, I got messaged by him on AIM saying that he called and tried the best he could to get the injector's to me.
He basically told me that "If Injected messes something up, we overnight it to the customer".
He told me he got on the phone with someone at Intense named Pete. I found out that he basically told Marty the Injector's would have to ship out at the end of this week or during the weekend because they were moving and their inventory is all packed up..
So at this point I'm thinking then why can't Pete call Deutschworks and have them overnight me a set of injector's if they messed up?
I'm guessing he was arguing with Pete over the phone during that wait period because he knows that I have been waiting patiently for days.
In the end, I was thinking that I indeed would have to wait until Friday or Monday so I was actually getting pretty angry at this point. However, Marty decided that wasn't right so he went ahead and put an order in with Deutschworks with Injected's company account to get them overnighted to me! He said that he wanted to get me the injector's so he can get me what I've been waiting for and then take the "scenario" with Intense offline!
Marty knew Han would not be cool with what happened on the phone so he specifically asked for him to contact Han to call him back.
I'm not trying to bash Intense here, but I'm just trying to share my thoughts on some real professionalism here on this board.

Yep, I've bought wheels and many other things from Marty, he's a good guy.
And I have to say the same about Sharif -- last week I needed to rent a torque plate from Forged Performance, but almost everyone from Forged was at SEMA. I didn't want to delay my engine build by another week... so I had my friends from Uprev, who happened to be at SEMA, find Sharif and see if he could do anything. A few minutes later I get a text message from Jared saying it's all set -- call Forged back and they'll ship it out today. And I've never even talked to Sharif! Thanks man. Good vendors rule.

OP- I'm a bit confused. Who did you buy the kit from? You didn't state that in the post. If it was purchased from Intense, then I see your point. If not, then I must be missing something.
Also, I must vouch for Pete at Intense. He has helped me out immensely. He went way beyond to help me get a good set of slicks from another member on here.
I am not a nuthugger, and never even get involved in this type of conversation. I simply think that Pete deserves some credit for the great customer service he has provided to me and others on here in the past. I realize you were bashing him, so this isn't an argument, just letting you know that you should give him and Intense a chance.
