I am sorry if I missed it Cass, but are you running the internal gates or external?

Also what are the specs on these turbos? They seem like they still have a lot of potential in them from the looks of the graph.

I am assuming you have internal gates which is why you are having boost drop off like that.

Nice job Dave, I am glad you got your car up and running properly Cass, it will be a beast once you take it on the road - hope you have some good rubber! :d

External WGs George. Dave says the boost drop off is because the springs are only 6lbs so it hits 19-20psi and then slides back to 18psi.

I will PM you the specs on the turbos when I dig out the build sheet - gotta hold a little something back, ya' know...

Thanks Jesse - first stress free night of sleep in a while. May be able to give your DSM monster all it can handle

Its been a dream of mine since I was a child to have a crazy car like this, always saying "some day", well no more.... today is that day!!!

Tomorrow evening in the cool night breezes of northern VA . Time to see what taps out first, the single Walbro or the intercooler.

Ahh 6lb springs, that would be the problem Usually you can double the pressure and maintain steady boost. (10lb springs should be good for 20 PSI with EBC).

I am sure the springs will fix that drop off in the top end

For reference, I have the 9.8 PSI TiAL Springs and here is my car at 17PSI:

I would love to help you and will be happy to answer any questions, but I'm running a DE and your running one of the HR's so some things may not apply. I would say that the APS may not be your best option if you want to make serious HP, I spent over $2200 the first time to rebuild the turbos to make them capable of what they are achieving now. I would be happy to recommend some alternatives via PM though.

seems like the power is very late in the powerband, maybe it is the cames or maybe excessive amounts of timing were pulled?

regardless good power

Try excessively large turbos.
